Thyalla's body was found with gunshot wounds to the head on a rural road.
Around 07:00 this Wednesday, the 12th, people called the Mobile Emergency Service - SAMU, informing of a person who had fallen on the side road of the locality known as Matizaria I, which connects the locality of Baraúnas to BA 381, in the city of Filadélfia, North of Bahia.
When the SAMU ambulance arrived at the scene, it was found that it was a victim without vital signs with gunshot wounds to the head.
According to the public, the victim was identified as [deadname] dos Santos, who was a 22-year-old [trans woman] known as “Thyalla”, who lives in Carrapato, also in rural Philadelphia.
The Military Police was called in to preserve the area and in turn called the Expertise of the Technical Police Department (DPT) of Senhor do Bonfim, a neighboring municipality.
As of the publication of this report there was no information about the authorship of or motive for the crime.
