Lynn died by suicide.

Lynn Ann Childers, born April 16, 2008, was lost to suicide September 21, 2026 in Arbutus, Maryland.

A trans woman and lesbian, she had many interests, including computing, transit, politics, and philosophy. She enjoyed travel, flying across the US as far as California and Puerto Rico. She studied at UMBC in pursuit of a degree in computer science, was employed part-time as a telescope operator by the college, and participated in several student clubs there. After a long struggle with mental health exacerbated by online bullying, cyberstalking, and pressure from transphobic relatives, she took her own life. Her friends ask that you keep her in memory.
