Kayra's body was found on an abandoned plot of land. The identity of her killer(s) is not known.

A 33-year-old trans woman was found dead on Thursday afternoon (27), in a vacant lot in the Jardim Três Marias neighborhood, in Guarujá , on the coast of São Paulo. According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP), the body showed signs of violence and was already in a state of decomposition .

In a statement, the department reported that military police were called after a complaint and located the victim on a plot of land on Rua Cláudio dos Santos, at the corner of Rua Azor Gomes de Almeida, around 5:30 pm. The body showed an apparent injury to the head, consistent with crushing.
