María's body was found in a ditch behind her home. Her partner has been arrested.
A 47-year-old trans woman was found dead last night in the back of a house located at 2200 Padre Roque Correa passage in Villa Muñecas III.
This Wednesday, just after 8 p.m., 911 was notified that a person was dead.
According to the report issued by the officers, they found the body of María de los Ángeles Díaz, a 47-year-old trans woman, in a well. Meanwhile, the main suspect, Osvaldo Martínez, 62, was arrested. Neighbors said that the couple had constant conflicts between them.
Homicide officers who worked at the scene confirmed that no signs of violence or blood stains were visible.
According to experts, the body was found around 8 p.m. in a well by a neighbor who alerted 911 personnel. Two people were arrested and the autopsy report is awaited to determine the cause of death.
During the early hours of Thursday, ECIF personnel continued with the expert tasks. According to initial investigations, the house where the victim and her partner (a 62-year-old male) lived was lent to them by a neighbor because they were both homeless.
