The victim died after being chased and shot dead in the street.

Manaus/AM - A [trans woman], not identified by the police, was chased and shot dead this Thursday (24th), on Rua 50, in the Mutirão neighborhood, in the north of Manaus.

Residents reported to the police that the victim was in the corner when the criminals arrived and shot. She still ran to try to escape, but she fell dead a few meters away. After the crime, the suspects fled and so far have not been identified.

The Police Station Specialized in Homicide and Kidnapping (DEHS) will investigate the case.
