PUBLIC COMMUNITY: Trans woman is brutally murdered by her [ex-]partner in Guasmo Sur, Guayas, Ecuador.
The Trans Psycho Center of Quito of the Silueta X Association, members of the Trans Revolution National Platform (which covers rural, community and periphery areas with its collectives) and the Ecuadorian Federation of LGBT+ Organizations, make the following fact publicly known.
On the afternoon of this Sunday, April [2], 2023, Brigitte (case code CPTSX0023924) was murdered by her foreign ex-partner in the south of Guayaquil, Guayas Province.
Brigitte, a well-known colleague in the community, lost her life after her partner gave her several blows all over her body and two stab wounds that would end up taking her life, at 5:00 pm this Sunday at the 5 de Octubre Cooperative , sector known as: "La Fritada del Guasmo" of Guasmo Sur.
We call on the State Attorney General, Diana Salazar, the Police Commander, Carlos Cabrera, the Minister of the Ministry of Women and Human Rights, Paola Flores, the Undersecretary for Diversities Alexander Guano, the defender of the People of Ecuador ( e), Cesar Córdoba Valverde, to carry out the necessary coordination to find the culprit or culprits, of this fact that mourns our community.
