Isabela's body was found in a vacant lot on the morning of Friday 4th March. She had last been seen leaving with a motorcyclist at around 1am.
A [trans woman] was found dead at dawn this Friday (04), in Vila Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, in Aparecida de Goiânia.
The victim's body was lying next to a wig in a vacant lot in a motel region. She had injuries on the neck and her skirt was raised, exposing her genitals. Witness reports to the Military Police say she was last seen leaving with a motorcyclist around 1 am.
The victim has not yet been officially identified because the documents found among her belongings include a photo of a child.
Cláudio Silva Lima was arrested on 29th March 2022.
The Goiás Public Ministry (MPGO) denounced Cláudio Silva Lima for the murder of the [trans womab] Isabela Patrícia de Araújo Farias. The crime took place in Aparecida de Goiânia on March 4 and had four qualifying factors: futile motive, ambush and femicide for discrimination.
In the complaint, the prosecutor, Daniel Roberto Dias do Amaral fromthe 19th Prosecutor's Office of Aparecida de Goiânia, reports that the crime took place around 2 am, in Vila Nossa Senhora de Lourdes. Cláudio killed Isabela Patrícia with three blows with a pocketknife.
