Emilly's body was found with stab wounds in the living room of her home. Two men were arrested; one of them was apparently her boyfriend, who had reportedly threatened her.
Two men, one 30 and the other 39 years old, were arrested on Tuesday (18) on suspicion of the murder of a [trans woman] in the city of Fronteira . The 26-year-old victim was found stabbed in the living room in the Vila Reis neighborhood. The crime is being investigated by the Civil Police.
According to the police report registered by the Military Police (PM), the victim's brother said that when he arrived at her house around 6 am on Tuesday, he realized that the light and TV were on. As soon as he opened the door, he found his sister injured and, shortly after, called the ambulance and called 911.
The health professionals who attended the [trans woman] informed the police that she had been dead a few hours. Her body was taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML). The Civil Police expert was at the scene and collected a knife and the victim's cell phone.
"The victim was naked on the floor of the room, making it possible to see a cut on her chest and another on her neck, as well as a knife next to her body. This is a typical situation for a homicide crime," explained police officer Bruno Salmen.
During the investigation, the PM found out that the [trans woman]'s boyfriend, 30, had argued with her and threatened her a few days ago. Witnesses said he was very jealous and that he often argued with his partner, with whom he had been in a relationship for about two years.
