S. was a stylist. She was shot dead at home by two hitmen while she was mourning her brother, who had been killed 12 days earlier.
EMILIANO ZAPATA.— A [trans woman] was shot dead inside her house while participating in the rosaries for the death of her brother killed 12 days earlier in the town of Tezoyuca of the same municipality.
On Friday at 10:30 pm, the stylist [deadname] N, 32, was inside their mother's house, which is located on calle Benito Juarez, where prayers were said after the murder of her brother Víctor Jesús, who was shot along with three other victims on February 25.
After finishing their prayers, the stylist and her friends were drinking when two vehicles pulled up outside the house. Two subjects got out and shot her several times.
The aggressors escaped from the scene. Her mother called for an ambulance, but when the municipal paramedics arrived at the place they diagnosed her death.
Agents of the Single Command guarded the area while personnel of the State Attorney General's Office carried out the body lift.
