Yuri's body was found on 22nd October. She had been murdered.
The Colectivo Voz Propia regrets and rejects the murders of Yuri Vanesa Salazar López, a trans woman, found dead on October 22, and Diana Marcela Rojas Oviedo, a woman in street condition, murdered on October 24 in Buga.
We see with sadness and indignation that these violent acts are occurring in our city, putting out the life. We must not tolerate violence for any reason or justify it, whatever the cause of it.
We ask the authorities that these cases not go unpunished and that actions be taken to protect the entire population.
