Jenifer was strangled at home after an argument. When police officers entered the home they found her lying on the ground with a belt wrapped around her neck.
A 27-year-old [trans woman] was found dead after an argument in an apartment on Rua 1.600, on the corner of Avenida Brasil in the Balneario Camboriu Center on Monday night (31).
The Military Police were called to respond to verbal friction and aggression around 8:30 pm. The applicant reported that he was hearing two [people] arguing and assaulting each other in an apartment above his own and decided to call the PM.
At the scene, the police entered the residence and came across the victim lying on the floor with a belt wrapped around her neck. SAMU was in the room and confirmed the death of [deadname] Pinto Toledo.
Witnesses said that a suspect in shorts had left with blood marks on their clothes, and neighbors had also witnessed a number of men coming to the the apartment during the day.
