Kareem Washington

Kareem was stabbed several times in the back and throat.

When found by two employees of a nearby trucking company, Washington, who was wearing women's clothing, had been stabbed several times in the back and throat. Washington had been seen alive near the area around 6:00 a.m. on Monday, approximately four hours before the body was discovered.

Police do not yet have a suspect or a murder weapon, but they don't believe robbery was the motive, as Washington's wallet, containing both cash and identification, was found on the body.

The area where Washington's body was found, Hanover Street, is also known as a haven for sex work. Washington's mother, Cynthia Washington, is adamant that her child was not a sex worker, as investigators have theorized.
