Ketilly was shot in the street. She died at the scene.
A [trans woman] was shot dead in the São Cristóvão neighborhood, in the municipality of Itabaiana, on the night of last Tuesday, the 2nd. According to the Military Police, the victim was hit by shots to the head and back.
Locals reported that the suspects of the crime were in a vehicle. Military personnel conducted searches, but no one was arrested.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) team was at the scene and confirmed the death. The Legal Medical Institute (IML) and Criminalistics were also called.
The crime is being investigated by the Homicide and Personal Protection Division (DHPP) of the Itabaiana Regional Police Station.
