Valentina was attacked at the bar she owned by two men on a motorcycle. She died in hospital.
MORELOS.- Yesterday morning, Wednesday, Valentina Sody , an LGBT+ activist from Temixco, died in the hospital where she was after admitted being attacked by armed subjects.
It was reported that on Tuesday night, two men on a motorcycle shot her in a bar in the Rubén Jaramillo neighborhood. The victim was preparing to participate in the show that was offered at the venue.
The murderers arrived at the Alebrijes bar, owned by the victim, they asked about Valentina, she came out of the dressing room without finishing dressing and they shot her twice.
Her body fell to the floor of the club and paramedics found her with vital signs, so they transferred her to the "José G. Parres" hospital in Cuernavaca, however, she died hours later.
In her daily life, Valentina identified herself as [deadname] and was an activist defending the rights of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transvestite, Transsexual, Intersexual, Queer and Asexual (LGBTTTIQA+) community.
Prosecutor Uriel Carmona Gándara confirmed that Valentina's murderers fired their weapons from a moving motorcycle.
"Not even the two people riding the motorcycle got off. The passenger who was riding the motorcycle fired a shot, causing serious injuries," he said.
Uriel Carmona reported that the motive for the murder could be [an extortion racket]. Investigations are continuing.
