IXMIQUILPAN.- A trans woman was murdered in the state of Hidalgo. The events were reported on the morning of this Saturday, January 6, 2024. According to the data obtained from the preliminary report, the victim was identified with the name Gaby and she presented different marks of violence on her body; as well as a cardboard with a message written next to it. Authorities are investigating the case.
This Saturday morning they alerted the authorities of the Ixmiquilpan municipality, Hidalgo about the discovery of a body on the Progreso- Ixmiquilpan highway, near the community known as Cañada Chica. Public Security elements took the report, went to the scene and confirmed the death of a person.
According to the investigations, the body belonged to a transgender woman identified by the name Gaby and who was a renowned stylist in the Ixmiquilpan and Actopan municipalities. According to reports, she had received threats in recent days. Her body showed visible signs of violence and next to it, they left a cardboard with a message that contained explicit threats.
