Natalia was killed in a hotel room.
Mexico City, Jul 6 (EFE).- Mexican social organizations denounced this Thursday the transfemicide of Natalia González, who was found murdered on Wednesday night in a hotel in Mexico City, while demanding justice for the crime.
"Yesterday, Wednesday, July 5, 2023, Natalia González Santiago, a 29-year-old trans woman and sex worker, was the victim of a violent murder at the Condesa hotel, located in Tlalpan, Mexico City," said the organization Casa of the Tiresias Dolls.
In a publication on their social networks, the citizen group explained that the woman's body appeared in a room of said hotel "showing blood stains and a knife on her left side."
He also explained that at the scene, Mexican authorities arrested Axel "N", who allegedly murdered Natalia, but the defendant claimed to have acted in self-defense.
The organization demanded justice in the case and raised its voice "so that the murder of our sister Natalia does not go unpunished."
"We urge the authorities to carry out an exhaustive and transparent investigation to clarify all the details of this crime, ensuring that due process is applied and that the culprit is brought to justice," he stressed.
