Tania was killed inside her salon. Three years earlier Cristal was killed at the same address under similiar circumstances.
Last Wednesday, April 5, at around 11:45 p.m., a murder was recorded in the 13 block of calle Portugal in the El Porvenir district, in which a transgender stylist identified as Tania Viviana Ramírez was attacked with a knife by a foreign citizen inside her beauty shop.
The attack left her badly injured with deep wounds to her head, neck and arms. The attacker fled, leaving the victim mortally wounded and in agony until her death several minutes later. The motive for the crime is still unknown, but initial investigations indicate that it was a settling of accounts for a debt that the victim had with foreign citizens.
The criminal was arrested after locating him through video surveillance camera footage. The victim was from Piura and lived in the CP El Milagro. Also, she was a member of the LGBT community.
