Lully was shot in the street. She died at the scene.

A trans woman was shot dead in Vitória de Santo Antão , in the Zona da Mata of Pernambuco. The crime took place on Travessa Mariana Amalia, in the city center, on Saturday night (17) and was confirmed by the Civil Police and the Military Police (PM) this Sunday (18).

Blogs that post news about the municipality reported that the victim was identified as Lully Pimentel, age undisclosed. However, the name of the murdered trans [woman] was not confirmed by the PM or the Civil Police because of the Law of Abuse of Authority.

The victim died at the scene of the crime. Military police officers from the 21st Military Police Battalion went to where the murder took place to isolate the body until the competent bodies arrived. "No one has been detained so far," said the Military Police, in a note released at 3:40 pm this Sunday (18).
