SLP. - Following up on the proceedings and investigations carried out by the State Attorney General's Office (FGESLP) for a violent death in a home in the Valle Dorado neighborhood of the Capital city, on the early morning of July 21, 2021, it has been determined that the The victim was a person who identified herself with a female gender identity before the civil registry.

This 43-year-old person was found lifeless in an armchair with injuries caused by a knife in a house set up as a cosmetician on calle Perla; her body was taken to the Legislative Medical Service (Semele) for a legal necropsy and to know exactly what caused her death.

On 10th May 2022 Ramiro Rodríguez and Hernán Rodríguez were sentenced to 16 and 19 years in prison respectively for her murder.

This Tuesday, the brothers Ramiro Rodríguez and Hernán Rodríguez were sentenced for "simple homicide" in the case of the young trans Fabiola Ramírez, which occurred on March 3, 2021. The decision was made by the judge of the First Chamber in what Criminal and Correctional Resistance, Natalia Kuray.

It should be noted that the original accusation was for "murder aggravated by hatred of gender identity", but after an abbreviated trial the accused accepted their guilt, so the case remained as "simple homicide".

After the sentence is known, the young people will receive sentences of 16 and 19 years.
