Valeria's body was found inside her home on Wednesday 7th July. She had been strangled.

This morning the body of Valeria Carrasco, a 25-year-old transsexual woman, was found inside her home located in the Villas de Oro neighborhood, in the municipality of Villa de Álvarez, Colima. The LGBTTTIQ + community of Colima has been dismayed and demands that the facts be clarified using the hashtag #justiciaparaValeria, in the same way they are preparing a demonstration for this weekend.

With this case, there are already three trans femicides so far in 2021 in Colima , in addition to being the second registered in the municipality of Villa de Álvarez.

This morning, the third transfemicide was registered so far in 2021 in Colima. They took Valeria from us, a young trans woman who was only 25 years old.
