Rubia's body was found on Thursday 27th May - a week after she had last been seen at a gas station. A suspect has been arrested.
Civil police arrested on Thursday's night (27), a [woman] appointed as responsible for a homicide against a young trans [woman] who had been missing from the city of Monte Azul since last weekend. The 23-year-old was last spotted at a gas station and has since been missing. According to the Civil Police this [person] was a [trans woman] from a neighbouring city had lured the young trans woman to her residence and then killed her with a knife to her neck soon afterwards. The body was dumped in a rural area of the city of Monte Azul and was found this Thursday by police.
Police arrived at the [trans woman] after checking security footage at the gas station where the young lady was looking for customers. In these images, the victim appears with the [trans woman] suspected of the crime. The information relased is that the [accused] was arrested by civilian police officers and confessed to the whole story.
The motive for the crime was a dispute over customers.
