The body of the victim was found partially clothed next to a dirt road in a remote area. She had been beaten around the head.
A [woman] was found dead, semi naked, with a blunt head injury, in a place in the town of Zapoapan de Amapan, in the municipality of Hueyapan de Ocampo.
Around 1:00 pm on Wednesday, the municipal agent of Zapoapan de Amapan, Felipe Prieto, reported the discovery of a semi-naked body in a lonely place.
The victim, who looked like a [trans woman], wore only blue underwear which was pulled down to her knees. She was a thin [girl] with a dark complexion.
A patrol from the Hueyapan de Ocampo Municipal Police arrived shortly after, with a criminal expert from the Itinerant Prosecutor's Office who confirmed that the body had a head injury.
As an unknown, the body was transferred to the Catemaco forensic medicine for an autopsy and awaiting identification by family members.
Detectives of the Ministerial Police (PM) began investigations for the crime of intentional homicide against whoever is responsible.
