Kendra was shot while travelling in her car near her home. A year earlier on 11th April 2020 she had survived an armed attack in her home.
Pénjamo.- A [trans woman] who survived an armed attack in April 2020 died tonight while receiving medical attention at the General Hospital, after being attacked with bullets while traveling in her vehicle through Colonia Los Presidentes in the municipal seat.
The event occurred on Saturday night on calle Elías Calles, between Álvaro Obregón and Gustavo Díaz Ordaz. Neighbors in the area notified the 911 emergency system about a shooting at the scene.
Several patrols of the Municipal Police were mobilized to the site and located a person with gunshot wounds, aboard a sports car.
They immediately requested the support of paramedics from the local Red Cross , who treated the injured and rushed him to receive medical attention.
The victim, identified only by the aliases of 'La Kendra' and / or 'La Barbie', died a few minutes later as a result of the serious injuries suffered in different parts of her body.
On April 11, 2020 she had survived an attack when she was shot in his own home, on Elías Calles street, near the site where she was attacked tonight.
