Musa

Musa died as the result of a gang rape. She was of Christian faith, and had been lured from her home by a local gang.

Musa, A 15-year-old transgender girl was lured from home and ‘raped to death’ in Faisalabad, Pakistan on Saturday as first reported by Naya Dau.

Activist Shaan Taseer posted a photo on Facebook, in which he demanded that Shireen Mazari, Federal Minister for Human Rights take action against the perpetrators

“Yesterday, on the 4th of April, a Christian Transgender girl, Musa, resident of Daud Nagar Faisalabad was lured away by a local gang of 10-12 thugs and physically, sexually abused and murdered. Her body was left outside her master and mentor’s house.”

“Batala Colony Police Station has refused to take action. No FIR has been lodged despite the presence of multiple witnesses.” Shaan Taseer said.

One suspect was subsequently arrested and detained.
