Bruna was shot at least four times by two men in a black car.

The 25-year-old transvestite who was shot early on Wednesday (24) on Rua da República in the Varadouro neighborhood of João Pessoa died later that morning, according to a bulletin released by the Trauma Hospital of João Pessoa. In the bulletin, "[the unit] Social Work urgently requests the victim's family members to appear" and informs her that she underwent emergency procedures but could not survive her injuries.

According to the PM, the case happened around 1 am, when a security guard at the Redemption Palace reportedly heard gunfire being fired on the street behind the building. The police went to the scene and found the fallen victim. Witnesses said two men in a black car drove down the street and the driver shot the victim at least four times.
