Lucha was shot in the head. In July 2019 Mimoun Moumni, 38, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for her murder.

A 38-year-old man was sentenced this Friday in France to 30 years in prison for the murder of a Peruvian transsexual prostitute in 2016 in the city of Rouen (northwest) and the assault of another, his lawyers told AFP.
The defendant, Mimoun Moumni, of Moroccan origin, was convicted of the murder of [deadname] Z., 53, who was found dead on the night of February 20, 2016 on the stairs of his property, with a wound in the skull.
The French investigators thought at first that her death was accidental, since the victim was wearing very high heels. But during the autopsy a very small caliber bullet was found, which the coroner had not seen.
The Eure (North-West) Court of Appeal followed the recommendations of the Public Prosecutor's Office by confirming the 30-year prison sentence handed down at first instance in July 2019 against Mimoun Moumni.
The man, who denies being responsible, "is considering filing an appeal before the Court of Cassation," the highest French court, said his lawyers, asking that he be acquitted.
The accused, who did not speak during the hearing, was also convicted of having stabbed another Peruvian transsexual prostitute six times in 2015.
The latter had crossed paths with her attacker again and noted the license plate number of her vehicle, which she communicated to the police during the investigation into the murder of her compatriot, said Cécile Madeline, a lawyer for the family of the deceased and the prostitute . attacked in 2015.
