Victória was shot dead in the center of the city on the night of 12th April. CCTV cameras of commercial establishments revealed that two people were responsible.
It was subsequently determined that of the two her killer was dead and that his accomplice was in jail.
Investigators agents discovered that one of the suspects was detained at the State Penitentiary of Venâncio Aires (Peva). The boy, who was a minor at the time of the crime, confirmed that he was one of the people who appears in the footage. The other, he revealed, was shot dead in 2017.
According to the young man who is incarcerated - and who is now 20 years old - on the night that Victoria was killed, he attended a relative's funeral, when he was invited to go along and collect a debt. However, he revealed to the PC agents he knew the other guy was armed.
From the images, the agents confirm that the boy in Peva spoke the truth and that Victoria was killed by the other individual. Aside from this case, the young man who is being held in Peva, accused of having an illegal weapon possession in Canoas, is responsible for an execution in 2016, also in the center of Venâncio.
